The lectures are held at the Banco Court in the Supreme Court Building, Law Courts Complex, 304 George St, Brisbane The Banco Court is used mainly for Supreme Court ceremonial occasions, including marking the start of court activities for the new year and celebrating the admission of solicitors and barristers. It contains portraits of former judges, and commemorative plaques and statues. Outside the court stands the rare books room, exhibitions of court robes from years gone by and photographs of each of the judges who have sat on the Supreme Court. The foyer overlooks the courtyard of the complex.
