The TC Beirne School of Law has strong developing expertise around laws that are either based upon, or significantly influenced by, regulation. This expertise is enhanced by scholars working across disciplines within the wider university, including for example economic analysis of law as it relates to corporations, insolvency and taxation (revenue) law. The School has a significant research strength in intellectual property rights, corporate regulation and insolvency and taxation (or revenue) law . Other areas of interest include: financial services and banking law, discrimination law, employment law and the law relating to electoral process.
