Research report (pdf)

The TC Beirne School of Law is an internationally recognised centre of research excellence that creates and disseminates leading–edge research across a wide range of legal fields. The academic staff of the School are a diverse and energetic community of scholars who seek to make significant and lasting contributions to the understanding and development of law nationally and internationally, adding both to the effectiveness of law as a discipline and to a better understanding of its relationship with other disciplines such as science, philosophy, economics, sociology, politics, business, and social policy.

Although much of the research undertaken within the Law School is basic or fundamental research, it is a central part of the School's research mission to communicate this research to the legal profession and the wider community. The research undertaken within the School thus has had, and will continue to have, a significant impact on the content, practice, and administration of the law.
