A team of TC Beirne School of Law students won the LexisNexis Constitutional Law Moot, held in Canberra on 3-4 October. Students in the winning team were Emma Forbes, Joshua Stewart and Edmund Robinson and a second School of Law team - Thomas Li, Daniel Fuller and Jo Sri - was placed third. The moot was contested by 18 teams from around Australia, including teams from the Universities of NSW and Melbourne. This is the first time in several years that UQ has taken part in this competition and credit must go to the UQLS for taking the initiative in organising and funding the teams.
