Welcome! The Queensland Law Student Review (‘QLSR’) was established by the TC Beirne School of Law at The University of Queensland (‘UQ’) in 2007 to encourage and publish high-quality, in-depth research on contemporary legal and justice issues by undergraduate and postgraduate students at UQ. The QLSR offers an entry-point into academic publishing for students at the TC Beirne School of Law and connects our students with audiences and academic readers around Australia and abroad. The Review also offers a stepping-stone for students seeking to undertake higher research degrees. Publications in the QLSR undergo a peer-review process to promote academic research and writing of the highest quality. The QLSR aims to publish articles that make an original contribution to the existing scholarship in all fields of law, including domestic, international, and comparative law, jurisprudence, legal history, as well as interdisciplinary research.
