Specialisation Requirements for 2007

 Chinese/Australian Comparative Law

Candidates with a law degree from a Chinese University with which the University of Queensland has an agreement in relation to this specialisation:-

Six courses (#12) as follows:

  • LAWS7936 Introduction to Australian Law
  • LAWS7963 Chinese Comparative Legal Systems
  • [LAWS7962 Comparative Law Methodology
    OR
    LAWS7848 East Asian Legal Systems]

And at least three courses from the following must be taken -

LAWS7848 East Asian Legal Systems
LAWS7962 Comparative Law Methodology
LAWS7964 Chinese Comparative Contract Law
LAWS7965 Chinese Comparative Tort Law (Not offered in 2007)
LAWS7966 Chinese Comparative Investment Law
LAWS7967 Chinese Comparative Property Law (Not offered in 2007)
LAWS7968 Chinese Comparative Intellectual Property Law

Other candidates:-

Four courses (#8) as follows:
