The Student Body
Law students are well served by two representative bodies: The University of Queensland Law Society (UQLS) and the Justice and the Law Society (JATL). These societies perform educational, social and representative functions. Moreover, they promote linkages with professional associations and groups and are responsible for a variety of publications.
UQ offers exceptional services to its students including assistance in the areas of careers counselling, personal counselling, learning assistance, equity support, disabilities support, financial assistance and international student support. Students requiring extra help with English can contact the Institute of Continuing & TESOL Education (ICTE-UQ) (CRICOS Provider Number 00091C).
Visit the student testimonial page to read what current and past students say about the Law School.
