Viewing and Obtaining Feedback on Final Examinations

Revised: April 2008

1.0 Feedback on final examinations will be provided in two ways:
1.1 Written feedback, together with a copy of the examination question paper, will be made available on the course Blackboard site following completion of the special exam period for the relevant semester; and/or
1.2 Verbal feedback from the Course Co-ordinator (or delegate) can be obtained by attending the designated feedback sessions. This will be the only opportunity for students to meet with Course Co-ordinators for feedback on their examination performance.
2.0 The only exceptions to 1.1 above will be for:
2.1 Students who are completing their final courses and who wish to receive feedback before graduating; and/or
2.2 Students who have failed a course and are therefore not eligible to graduate or to enrol in courses in the following semester.
In these cases  students may view the written feedback and a copy of the examination question  paper at the Law School Office (3rd floor, Forgan Smith Building).
3.0 Students may request a copy of their examination script by submitting a Request for a Copy of Final Examination Script form.  Examination scripts will be available from the Law School Office following completion of the special examination period for the relevant semester. Students will be notified when scripts are ready for collection by email to the student’s UQ email address.
4.0 The only exceptions to 3.0 above will be for:
4.1 Students who are completing their final courses and who wish to view their examination script before graduating; and/or
4.2 Students who have failed a course and are therefore not eligible to graduate or to enrol in courses in the following semester.
In these cases students are able to obtain a copy of their examination script by sending an email request to tcblaw@law.uq.edu.au. Students will be notified when scripts are ready for collection by email to the student’s UQ email address.
5.0 Students are encouraged to view their examination scripts in conjunction with the feedback document provided on the Blackboard site. In most cases this should satisfy feedback requirements.
